Holy Week in the Holy Land

Lent and the time leading up to Holy Week is always a favorite time of year. This year I thought about those who were currently traveling in the Holy Land during Holy Week. Walking along the road to Jerusalem, standing outside the house of Pilate, looking upon the remains of the temple in the city, and then walking along the Via Delarosa, Jesus’ Way of Suffering. And all that we do in worship at church and at home during this time frame suddenly became more real.

We are looking forward to walking these same roads and seeing these same historical sites in 2023. It is hard to believe that the tour is only a bit over a year from now. There is still space for you, your family and friends to join us for this experience. The brochure with all the details is on this site, and the application to reserve your spot is available here as well.

May God bless you richly in the year to come.

As an associate pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo the thing I love most is seeing God at work in, with, and through His people. Spreading His love, sharing the joy of the gospel, and bringing the comfort of the Holy Spirit are all things that find me in my sweet spot.
